Pistachio Green Double Door
PORTES SERIES · P13 · 2025
Watercolour on 100% cotton paper · 30 × 30 cm
Pistachio Green Double Door establishes a stable and measured frontal presence. The two panels organize the composition around a silent central axis, while the pistachio tone introduces subtle yet determined chromatic presence.
The ochre wall functions as a contained mineral field. It does not dominate; it supports the door, creating controlled tension between warmth and freshness. Balance emerges through symmetry, verticality, and chromatic density.
Here, the door is not a narrative motif but an autonomous architectural element. The threshold becomes suspended space between interior and exterior, surface and depth.
Within the Portes series, this work reinforces the pursuit of silent, structured, and timeless architecture aligned with demanding contemporary curatorial contexts.
